When developing your win themes, you need to take into account the client’s values, as well as the specific needs and issues which the project is addressing and any key concerns of the project (such as safety or speed of project delivery).
  5. Personalise your bid and show that you are the right fit. Your agility and the size of your organisation is also important. The first step in order to show you are the right fit is to understand your client and then look at your own business compared to your competitors. Identify the attributes that that client would be looking for and then highlight what aspects of your own organisation are similar to these and articulate these in your bid.
  6. Answer each question in comprehensive, well structured way. Sometimes questions in RFTs and DPSs have multiple parts built into one single question. It is important that you answer each part of the question separately and clearly structure your response with sub-headings. This will ensure you score well in the question and don’t lose marks unnecessarily. In addition, also need to ensure you structure your response with bullet points, lists and sub-headings where possible. This makes your response easier to read and more importantly easier to mark.
